2200ft over the City of London
My latest commission was to shoot some almost vertical aerial views up over the City of London from just over 2000ft. The weather had been rubbish for weeks but eventually the skies cleared and we spent some time tipping the AS355 helicopter on its side in order to get views such as this below.

On January 5th, 2022, amidst unseasonably cold London weather, a flight was conducted with an open door to offer stunning views. A noteworthy image was captured from specific coordinates, offering an eastward glimpse of Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs.

Early morning mist over London
This morning’s flight offered stunning views over London, particularly Canary Wharf, enhanced by the early morning light. Despite a bit of fog, city vistas were distinctly visible. After refueling the AS355 helicopter, another two hours were spent photographing London’s striking aerial views, including the Docklands and Isle of Dogs.

This week I was flying for a client shooting multiple sites in the City of London. I shot at dawn, late afternoon and dusk, some of which like the image below of Broadgate Circle, were very tight crops looking vertically down finding interesting visual patterns of people.
